DC Engagement | Patty & Jay

I have to thank Julie Lim for asking me to come along to shoot Patty & Jay’s engagement. It was so much fun and both are such an adorable couple. At times Jay couldn’t believe he’ll be marrying Patty this weekend and I can’t wait to second shoot their wedding for Julie. Patty & Jay chose the Dumbarton Oaks Garden as their first location and I’m so glad that they did. The place is gorgeous! I believe we only roamed through half of it before heading to the second location. Seriously, every nook and cranny of that garden was perfect for a nice backdrop.

After the garden, we headed to the Washington National Cathedral to finish up the shoot there. I have passed this cathedral so many times in my 5 or 6 years here in Maryland and never once had a chance to visit it. It’s absolute gorgeous there.

Absolute stunning couple and so effortless in front of the camera. I’m so looking forward to your wedding, Patty & Jay! =)
