A Renaissance Hotel DC Wedding | Patrice & Ruey

It was bright and early when I arrived at the Renaissance hotel and headed up to the 11th floor Presidential suite. The girls were all prepping and I see the bride getting her hair and makeup done by Jordan from Jordan K Winn while her hands were steadily typing away at an email. Everything went smoothly that day and well it should be. If there were ever a trophy for the most organized bride out there, Patrice would win it hands down.

The day started out with the getting ready photos and detail shots. Then we headed down to the lobby for Patrice’s and Ruey’s first look surrounded by the bridal party. After that, it was time to trek around D.C. for all the quick landmark tours for the bridal party with most who were out-of-towners.

There was a band playing right nearby and Patrice and Ruey wanted to show us a preview of their dance moves later on – awesome. I just love it when the bride and groom prepare dances for the guests!
I had an amazing time at your wedding, Patrice and Ruey, and can’t wait for you to see the rest of your photos! Enjoy for now. =)
