I met Mary & Ethan for the first time at Patty’s and Ruey’s wedding and since they live in Jersey and were coming down for the wedding, we decided to have their engagement session the next day. Both couples booked me within a month of each other and didn’t know even know it until later. Love how things seem to work out that way and always remind us how small the world really is.
Since the hotel was right near Old Town Alexandria, it was a great place to have the session with little nooks and crannies to explore there. It was also a blistering hot day so finding shade to shoot was made it through the session for us.
As you can tell, we definitely stopped by Starbucks for a cool-down afterwards and lost all track of time while sitting around chit-chatting like old-time friends. I love when that happens. Mary and Ethan, I hope you enjoyed these photos and I cannot wait till your August wedding!! If I am ever in Jersey before then, will totally call you up for karaoke! =D
